2020 Emerald Necklace Grand Tour
7th edition of our popular tour of Redlands’ outdoor places, trails and historic sites.
This year, Redlands Conservancy teams with the Inland Empire Bike Alliance and Redlands Bike BBQ to offer the Emerald Necklace Grand Tour and Redlands Strada Rossa on the same day! Both events start and end at the Asistencia. Both include lunch and the after-party following your circuit of our town. If you are interested in riding a bike through hill and dale, following trails and dirt roads around own town, then Strada Rossa 7 is the event for you.
Register for that ride here: Strada Rossa 7.
If traveling by luxury bus with champagne is more your style, or you’d like to drive your own auto around the city, touring our gems, then the Emerald Necklace Tour is what you want! This year, Daniel Cozad of the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District will be on board the bus to share information about water issues in the valley and our watershed. Stops include the San Timoteo Nature Sanctuary and stream, Gateway Ranch, and the Greenspot Bridge (new this year!) to name a few.
And if you like to ride a bike, but just don’t think the dirt is for you, we have that covered, too. The short course bike ride is nearly flat and takes to you to all the cool spots on our city’s north side.
Registration includes lunch and the after-party. Plus – children can ride with their adult for free! Make a day of it, exploring the city as a family.
