So much to know, so much to enjoy. The City’s more than 450 acres of protected, undeveloped open space offer a rich and diverse landscape, full of flora and fauna and history and adventures. Redlands Conservancy created Sunday FunDays to help Redlands’ residents and guests explore San Timoteo Nature Sanctuary, Live Oak Canyon Open Space, the Santa Ana River watershed, native and non-native vegetation, the panoply of birds, snakes, healthful activities – all the delicious details that bring about total enjoyment.
They are short (one or two hours), they are regular (first Sunday of each month), they are fascinating (expert speakers for each topic), and they are free and open to the public. Something in us wishes attendance could be mandatory for everyone who could use a good dose of the wild places to put things in perspective.
