EYES AND EARS
If you’re a regular user of Redlands Heritage Trails, the San Timoteo Nature Sanctuary, or The Canyons Preserve, you’re the best candidate to become the Conservancy’s Eyes and Ears. Whenever you hike, bicycle or horseback ride at these places, be alert to any issues:
- trail damage, whether from wear and tear or storm events;
- dumping and trash
- motorized vehicles
- dead animals
Your job is simply to report what you see and hear, not to engage anyone in conversation. This is an extremely helpful volunteer effort – we simply don’t have enough bodies to cover all the trails and sites without this help. Thanks very much.
